Dyslexia Friendly Schools
We are very proud to be a Gold accredited Dyslexia Friendly School. We have a stakeholder working group who meet regularly to develop initiatives and ensure that Dyslexia Friendly practices are consistent throughout the school.
Our working group, known as the Dyslexia Squad, meet regularly on a Thursday. The squad monitor progress and share ideas with the whole school community. We are fortunate to be joined by pupils, staff and a parent member who work co-operatively to promote excellent practice. This enables us to have some parental input and allows us to establish what information is important to share with all parents.

Dyslexia Friendly Pupil Group

They meet regularly at lunchtimes to help with Dyslexia Friendly School projects and bring ideas to the teachers in the DFS working group. They have super ideas and make sure that resources in classes are being used appropriately.
