Welcome to Our Early Years Centre
Within the EYC, our whole ethos is based on a nurturing, supportive environment.
Our Early Years Centre offers 1140 hours and is open 52 weeks of the year. We have a 2-5 year old provision spanning across two rooms, named The Sunshine Room and The Rainbow Room, and have free flow space to outdoor learning. Our rooms allow 2-5 provision in order to allow the best opportunities for our youngest learners and meet their individual learning styles.
In the Early Years, our youngest learners begin to form meaningful associations with our staff from initial home visits. From building and nurturing positive relationships from the outset, strong foundations are paved for our children in turn to show care and affections to their peers alike. Equally, through positive praise and role modelling children in the youngest years learn to share, take turns and respect the feelings of others. Together, in partnership with parents, we build strong united relationships built on unity and trust.
Within the Centre, we have high expectations for all learners. A collective team effort ensures we provide rich educational experiences for the children. Through both planned and responsive learning, personal care plan meetings and focused interventions we strive to get it right for every child. Continuous provision across the Centre ensure skills are continually discovered, explored, revisited and challenged.
