Welcome to Primary 7Mo
Welcome to Primary 7! We have 17 children in total, 5 girls and 12 boys. Our teacher this year is Miss Morton.
Primary 7 is such a fun year and we are beyond excited to have the best experience. We have already started organising our Macmillan Coffee Morning and our House Captain applications are well on the way – wish us all luck. But do not worry Primary 7 have many more opportunities to develop their leadership qualities including assembly buddies, lunch monitors and even sports leaders. Primary 7 are also responsible for hosting both the Remembrance and Holocaust Assemblies later in the year. But I can safely say that we are most excited about our visit to Dolphin House. We have so much to look forward to this year.
Our PE lessons are timetabled for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week. Please ensure your child comes to school dressed appropriately. We visit the library on a Monday afternoon and have the awesome Mr Thomson in school delivering Music Lessons every Wednesday morning too. Details of performances will follow.
Our Term 1 topic will based on our class novel 'A Kind of Spark', which will cover different areas of the curriculum, including literacy, social studies, expressive arts, HWB and technologies. We will explore the concepts of neurodiversity, equality and speaking out for those without a voice. We can’t wait to find out what is going to happen in the book!
