Welcome to Primary 3
There are 25 pupils in Primary 3 this session and our teacher is Mrs McCracken.
Our PE days are Tuesday and Thursday, with an outdoor PE slot on Friday. We go to the library every Thursday and enjoy reading for pleasure. We read with our P7 buddies twice a week.
In Term 1 our topic is Superheroes and we will be exploring different forces such as magnets and gravity/air resistance.
We will also be discovering more about the human body and our five senses, making strong links with Health and Wellbeing. Inspired by Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, we will be creating our own Superhero pop art.
We will be attending ‘Forest School’, learning new skills and working together in teams.
We will be working with a music specialist every Tuesday as part of the Music Heroes initiative – ‘taking part in music and singing activities is incredibly beneficial for children’s development and well-being’.
